Amazon’s Account Health Ratings Live in UK & EU

Amazon’s Account Health Rating (AHR) tool is now live in UK and EU. Earlier in August 2022, the new version of Amazon’s AHR was rolled out in the U.S. and Canada. The AHR provides sellers with the overall health of their accounts at a glance. It shows 3 statuses depending on the state of the account - Healthy, At-Risk and Unhealthy.

The company has added the AHR metric with a 7-day preview period to Seller’s "Account Health" page, which is expected to provide more transparency into the overall performace of the account. Following the 7-day preview period, the seller’s account may be deactivated if the AHR status is red or “Unhealthy”. The AHR also has numeric health score.

Dharmesh Mehta, VP of WW Selling Partner Services, Amazon, further added, ‘Account Health Rating is an easy-to-understand metric that will give sellers an overall state of their account health, including if this numerical value makes their account “Healthy”, “At-Risk”, or “Unhealthy”.’

AHR Status, Color and Score:
if AHR score is in between 200-1,000, the account status is “Healthy” (green)
If it is between 100-199, the account status is “At Risk” (yellow)
if the seller’s AHR score is 99 or lower, the account status is “Unhealthy” (red) and the account is either eligible for deactivation or already deactivated.

The AHR is updated in real-time and lets sellers know the state of their accounts.

About Amazon Account Health Rating:
The Amazon Account Health Rating (AHR) is a metric used to monitor Amazon account health in Amazon Seller Central. Sellers can use this metric to see an overview of their account performance and watch it over time. This new metric will help business partners know the exact status of their account before it gets suspended for policy violations. This new indicator will be the determining factor for account suspension based on accumulated violations.

It is crucial to maintain a healthy Amazon seller central account in order to sell successfully on the platform. Any breach of Amazon policies can result in the deactivation of the seller account. To prevent this, the Account Health Rating provides an overview of policy violations and their severity level. It allows sellers to take corrective measures to address them before Amazon takes action.
