Amazon Business Launches 3-Way Match for Mobile
Amazon Business has launched a new feature on its mobile app that allows business customers to close purchase orders faster and easier. The '3-Way Match' app enables account administrators and approved buyers to scan the barcode of a package when it arrives and automatically mark the item as received, verifying the purchase order, the invoice, and the receipt before a payment is made.
The 3-Way Match app is designed to help business customers improve their smart business buying strategies and automate reporting. It also helps them protect their organization from paying for incorrect invoices, items still waiting to be received, or fraudulent purchases. The app is available in the U.S. for nearly 1 million active users on the Amazon Business mobile app at no additional cost. Earlier, the tool was available only via a desktop computer or handheld scanner.
