In a significant move to enhance its direct-to-customer (DTC) capabilities, Amazon is expanding its "Buy with Prime" program to adidas.com and the Adidas app. This announcement, shared by Amazon in an official press release, is set to provide Prime members in the U.S. with a seamless shopping experience for Adidas products. The expansion reflects Amazon's commitment to broaden the impact of "Buy with Prime" beyond its own storefront, offering convenience and reliable service to a growing number of brands and their customers.

“Buy with Prime" initially took shape to help DTC merchants address common challenges in reaching new shoppers, boosting conversion rates, and improving overall customer experience. By tapping into Amazon's vast fulfillment network, thousands of brands have already been able to provide fast, free delivery, simple returns, and round-the-clock customer support. This expansion marks another milestone in Amazon's strategy to unite popular brands with Prime members and keep them engaged with exclusive benefits.

Starting this Spring, shoppers browsing adidas.com or the Adidas app can look for Prime-eligible items and add them to their carts as usual. During checkout, they will see an option to sign in to their Amazon account, which confirms their Prime membership. Once verified, customers can select one of Adidas's payment methods to complete the purchase. Amazon will fulfill all Prime-eligible items in the order, leveraging its established logistics expertise for efficient and speedy delivery.

"This collaboration is like lacing up a fresh pair of sneakers, it just feels right," said Peter Larsen, Vice President of Buy with Prime and Amazon Multi-Channel Fulfillment. "We're excited to give Prime members the added convenience of using the shopping benefits they already know and love on adidas.com and the Adidas app."

Since its inception, "Buy with Prime" has attracted a wide range of brands, including fashion labels, tech gadget makers, and even specialty food companies. Names such as Laura Mercier, Steve Madden, Belkin, and Betty Buzz have adopted the program, helping them reach more customers and increase sales. Data provided by Amazon shows that “Buy with Prime” can boost a merchant's revenue per shopper by an average of 16%. Merchants also gain access to valuable shopper information and can use it to foster deeper relationships with their customers.

Brands looking to learn more about this service can visit Amazon representatives at the eTail West 2025 event in Palm Springs from February 24-27. At booth #104, attendees can explore how "Buy with Prime" and Amazon Multi-Channel Fulfillment works together to bring reliable delivery and easy returns to online shoppers. This event serves as an excellent opportunity for DTC merchants to discover ways to streamline their operations and deliver exceptional customer experiences.

For shoppers, the expansion means greater variety and a simpler checkout process, bolstered by trusted Prime benefits. For merchants, it translates to a proven solution for overcoming logistical hurdles, along with direct access to consumer insights. Amazon's fulfillment network adds credibility and a sense of assurance for both buyers and sellers, potentially reducing acquisition costs and helping build long-term customer loyalty.

With "Buy with Prime," Amazon is effectively bridging the gap between sellers' independent online stores and the shopping perks Prime members enjoy on Amazon.com. By integrating the service with iconic brands like Adidas, "Buy with Prime" is set to make high-demand products even more accessible. As more merchants embrace this program, it could reshape how consumers interact with their favorite brands—offering greater speed, convenience, and confidence throughout the entire shopping journey.
