Amazon Expands Subscribe & Save to Seller-Fulfilled Orders Starting June 27

New Feature Aims to Boost Sales and Customer Loyalty for Amazon Sellers

Amazon is set to enhance its popular Subscribe & Save program by including eligible seller-fulfilled products starting June 27, 2024. This update, announced on Seller Central, promises significant benefits for both sellers and customers by offering discounts on frequently used products and the convenience of auto-delivery.

Boost Conversions and Drive Repeat Purchases
Expanding the Subscribe & Save program aims to help sellers boost conversions and drive repeat purchases. By participating, sellers can grow their brands and increase customer loyalty. The program is designed to simplify the purchasing process for customers, encouraging them to make regular, repeat purchases of their favorite products.

Automatic Enrollment of Eligible Products
Amazon will automatically enroll all eligible, replenishable products into the Subscribe & Save program at the default discount set in the seller’s Subscribe & Save settings. Suppose a seller has previously set a default discount for Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) Subscribe & Save. This setting will also apply to the new seller-fulfilled Subscribe & Save selection starting June 27.

Additional Customer Discounts
To further incentivize customer subscriptions, Amazon will fund an additional 5% discount for customers with five or more subscriptions scheduled to arrive on the same delivery day. If sellers do not have a default discount set, their eligible products will be added at a 0% seller-funded base discount.

Managing Your Subscribe & Save Settings
Sellers may experience an increase in pending orders as Amazon aligns seller-fulfilled Subscribe & Save deliveries with the subscriber’s weekly or monthly delivery day. To manage default enrollment discounts or make changes to product discounts after the launch, sellers can follow these steps:

1. Go to Growth and select Explore programs
2. Click Increase conversion
3. Under Subscribe & Save, click Learn more

From there, sellers can opt out of automatic enrollment, update discount funding for each product, and review their performance dashboard.
