Amazon Launches Faster Delivery for MCF Orders in US

Amazon reduces MCF Delivery Time at No Extra Cost

In a move to enhance customer experience and drive business growth, Amazon has announced faster delivery speeds for its Multi-Channel Fulfillment (MCF) service in the United States. In a Seller Central post, Amazon said that the new benefits for MCF sellers will be provided at no extra cost. The changes, effective from September 5, aim to provide sellers with a competitive advantage by offering even quicker delivery times to shoppers.

Key Changes to MCF Delivery Times
- Standard delivery has been reduced from five business days to three business days.
- Expedited delivery has been improved from three business days to two business days.
- Priority delivery has been discontinued, with any new priority orders charged at the expedited rate.

How Amazon’s MCF Works
Amazon’s Multi-Channel Fulfillment allows sellers to send their inventory to Amazon, which then stores and manages the products in its fulfillment centers. When a customer places an order on any non-Amazon sales platform, Amazon handles the entire process—from picking and packing to delivering the product—ensuring timely fulfillment.

Benefits of Using MCF
Amazon Multi-Channel Fulfillment allows sellers to leverage Amazon's extensive fulfillment network and expertise to pick, pack, ship, and deliver customer orders from off-Amazon sales channels. By using MCF, sellers can ensure timely delivery of orders through any ecommerce channel.

MCF works by having sellers send their inventory to Amazon, which then distributes and stores the products in its fulfillment centers. When customers place orders through off-Amazon channels, such as brand websites, ecommerce marketplaces, or social media stores, Amazon processes and fulfills the orders, delivering them to customers as quickly as two days.
