Amazon has announced through Seller Central that sellers can take advantage of Outlet deals to drive sales during the upcoming Labor Day shopping period. The special promotion will run from August 22 to September 1, 2025, giving sellers a chance to move excess inventory while benefiting from enhanced visibility and traffic.



Increased visibility through Outlet
Excess inventory deals discounted by at least 15 percent will qualify for placement on Amazon’s dedicated Labor Day Outlet landing page. This placement will be supported by mobile push notifications and targeted email campaigns, directing customers straight to Outlet deals. By participating, sellers can increase exposure for their products during a high-traffic shopping event and clear slow-moving stock more effectively.

How to create an Outlet deal
Amazon has provided a simple process for creating new Outlet deals.
Sellers need to:

* Go to Inventory and select FBA Inventory
* Use the Recommendation filter to choose Create outlet deal
* Click Create outlet deal under the Recommended action column
* Review the suggested price, ensuring a minimum 15 percent discount
* Submit the deal for approval
