Amazon Partners with Womennovator
Amazon, the e-commerce giant, has announced its partnership with ‘Womennovator’, a global incubator for women entrepreneurs, to enable 200 Indian women entrepreneurs to launch their products on Amazon’s international websites and marketplaces, reports Business Today.
The partnership is part of Amazon’s e-commerce export program, Global Selling, which aims to help Indian sellers reach customers globally. The program offers end-to-end solutions for sellers, including logistics, payments, tax and compliance support.
The 200 women entrepreneurs who are part of ‘Womennovator’ will be onboarded on the Global Selling program over the next 24 months. They will receive skill development workshops on e-commerce exports, training on product listing, pricing, marketing and customer service.
The entrepreneurs represent diverse sectors such as fashion, beauty, health, wellness, home decor, handicrafts and food products. Some of them include Kidsy Winsy (organic baby product), Zouk (vegan bags and accessories) and Nutriorg (organic health products).
The partnership is expected to boost the visibility and sales of these women-led businesses in the global markets and help them create global brands from India. It will also showcase the unique Made in India products to the world and contribute to the Atmanirbhar Bharat initiative.
