This year’s extended Prime Day experience debuted Alexa+ in Early Access alongside the AI shopping assistant Rufus and new AI Shopping Guides. These features helped members find deals faster, compare products and read tailored recommendations. Many shoppers reported discovering relevant deals they might have missed without AI support.

Independent sellers also celebrated major wins. According to Amazon’s blog, most of these merchants are small and medium-sized businesses. “Prime Day 2025 was our most successful Amazon shopping event since launching our store in 2019,” said Anne Maza, co-owner of Olivia Garden. “Beyond the immediate revenue boost, we’re especially thrilled about the increased brand awareness and the acquisition of new customers through the event.”
