Amazon UK Introduces Account Health Assurance (AHA) for Sellers

The new feature aims to provide greater visibility into account health and risk of deactivation

By Staff Writer

Amazon UK has launched a new feature, Account Health Assurance (AHA), aimed at aiding sellers in addressing account deactivation issues. This feature responds to sellers' demand for greater visibility into their account health and risk of deactivation. This new feature was announced in an official update on the Seller Central platform.

AHA: A Benefit for Consistent Performers
According to the company, AHA benefits sellers with a professional account subscription who maintain an Account Health Rating (AHR) score of 250 or higher for at least six months with no more than ten days below 250. Sellers must also have a valid emergency contact number on Seller Central. Now available worldwide, this benefit aims to provide sellers with peace of mind that their account will not be deactivated.

Proactive Support from Account Health Specialists
In the event of an issue that could lead to account deactivation, an account health specialist will proactively reach out to the seller. The specialist will explain the issue and provide step-by-step guidance on how to address it. Suppose the seller can be reached within 72 hours and works with Amazon to address the account issues. In that case, their selling account will not be deactivated.

Automatic Enrollment and No Charges
Eligible sellers will be automatically enrolled in the AHA program and will receive an email notification. There are no charges for Account Health Assurance. Sellers can check the eligibility criteria on the Account Health Assurance page on Seller Central.

Compliance with the Amazon Services Europe Business Solutions Agreement Still Required
Despite the launch of AHA, Amazon has made it clear that sellers must still comply with the Amazon Services Europe Business Solutions Agreement. Amazon may immediately remove a seller from the AHA program and deactivate their seller account if there are suspicions of fraudulent, deceptive, illegal, or harmful activities or if the seller fails to comply with relevant regulations.

This new feature is expected to significantly impact sellers in the UK, providing them with greater visibility into their account health and reducing the risk of sudden account deactivation.
