eBay to Unveil New Homepage Design for Better User Experience
eBay is preparing to launch a new homepage redesign that will be the biggest user experience change in more than five years, according to its CEO Jamie Iannone. He revealed the news during a virtual keynote at eBay Open 2023, a seller conference, on Wednesday. The news was reported by eCommerceBytes.

"This is a huge moment for eBay. The new design will completely modernize the look and feel of the homepage and will make the experience more interactive for your buyers, offering them new and more efficient ways for them to find the items they want and need," he said.

Lannone also said eBay was improving customer communications, both for sellers and buyers. "How many times have you gotten an email and felt like it wasn't that relevant to you? Well, we're changing that. Whenever we reach out, we should be telling you the right thing at the right time for exactly what you need. And we're doing the same thing for your buyers with more targeted emails so they can more efficiently find your items and your stores," he said.
It will take some time to see the visible results for these changes on eBay sellers and the company.
