Walmart integrates PingPong as Payment Option

Walmart has integrated PingPong, a global payment service provider, to allow international sellers on Walmart's marketplace to receive payments. This partnership is expected to help international sellers in expanding their businesses on Walmart's platform.

The partnership was announced on June 16, 2023 in an official press release. PingPong is a leading global payment service provider with over 10 million merchants in 200 countries. It offers a variety of payment solutions, including cross-border payments, local payments, and e-commerce payments.

Walmart is the world's largest retailer, with over 10,500 stores and clubs in 20 countries. Its marketplace platform allows businesses of all sizes to sell their products to Walmart customers around the world.

PingPong, a Bengaluru (India) based company, has been facilitating business flows from over 200 countries since 2015. The company connects over 100 global e-commerce marketplaces and ecosystem partners, as well as over 100 global financial institutions.

“We’re extremely happy to announce our tie-up with Walmart. This will provide wider reach to companies doing business through this platform,” said Mukesh Sahu, Country Manager at PingPong.

“Indian businesses using PingPong payments can extend its reach and basis thorough evaluation done by Walmart, limited companies will get an access to operate on the giant global platform and international sellers from India operating on Walmart US marketplace will be able to receive payments through PingPong’s secure payment gateway,” He added.

The partnership between Walmart and PingPong is a win-win for both companies. It will give international sellers a wider reach and allow them to expand their businesses on Walmart's platform. It will also give Walmart access to a new pool of sellers and products.
