Amazon has rolled out its Multi-Channel Fulfilment Shopify app for sellers in the UK, making it easier for merchants to fulfil Shopify orders using their existing Amazon inventory. The update, announced on Seller Central, is aimed at simplifying order fulfilment for businesses selling across multiple channels, while reducing the need for separate warehousing or logistics arrangements. The app is already available for US sellers.

What the new update is about
According to the announcement shared on Seller Central by Amazon UK, the Multi-Channel Fulfilment Shopify app allows sellers to connect their Shopify stores directly with Amazon’s fulfilment network. Once connected, sellers can use the same pool of inventory stored in Amazon fulfilment centres to ship orders placed on Shopify. This means sellers no longer need to manage separate stock or fulfilment partners for different sales channels. Orders placed on Shopify can be picked, packed, and delivered by Amazon using its established logistics infrastructure.

Simple setup and easy management
Amazon highlighted that the Shopify app is free to use and offers a no-code setup process. Sellers can complete the integration in just a few clicks without technical expertise. After setup, product listings, orders, and delivery tracking can be managed directly from the Shopify admin dashboard. This integration is designed to save time for sellers who want a single view of their inventory and orders, especially those handling growing volumes across Amazon and their own online stores.
Unbranded packaging and customer experience
One key point mentioned in the Seller Central update is that all Multi-Channel Fulfilment orders through the Shopify app are shipped in unbranded packaging at no additional cost. This helps sellers maintain their own brand identity when delivering products to customers outside the Amazon marketplace. Using Amazon’s fulfilment standards can also improve delivery reliability, faster dispatch, and better order accuracy, which are important factors for customer satisfaction on independent online stores.
Benefits for growing UK sellers
For UK sellers, the new app offers improved SKU management and easier scaling as demand increases. By relying on Amazon’s fulfilment network, sellers can handle seasonal spikes, promotions, and business growth without investing in new warehouses, staff, or delivery partners. The update is particularly useful for small and medium-sized businesses that sell on both Amazon and Shopify and want to streamline operations while controlling costs.
Expansion plans and availability
Amazon also confirmed on Seller Central that the Multi-Channel Fulfilment Shopify app will be expanded to additional countries in the coming months where the service is available. UK sellers can already download the app from the Shopify App Store and start using it immediately.
With the launch of the Multi-Channel Fulfilment Shopify app in the UK, Amazon is offering sellers a practical way to manage multi-channel sales using a single inventory and fulfilment system. Announced on Seller Central, the update is expected to help UK merchants simplify logistics, improve delivery performance, and scale their businesses more efficiently while selling beyond the Amazon marketplace.
