Amazon India has expanded its logistics network with the launch of a new heavy and bulky fulfilment centre in Haryana, a move expected to benefit sellers dealing in large-sized products. The update, announced on Seller Central, highlights the company’s continued push to improve fulfilment efficiency and delivery timelines across key regions.
The new facility, identified as LDEB, became operational on April 1, 2026, and is strategically located to serve the fast-growing demand for heavy and oversized product deliveries in North India. For sellers, this development opens up additional storage capacity and potentially faster last-mile delivery options.

New fulfilment centre strengthens large-item logistics
The newly launched LDEB fulfilment centre is situated at Horizon Industrial Parks Block 0303 (2 and 3), MDR 132, Pataudi-Kulana Road, Village Luhari, Jhajjar, Haryana. The location is close to major transport corridors, enabling quicker movement of goods across Delhi NCR and nearby states.
Amazon has been steadily investing in specialised infrastructure to handle heavy and bulky items such as furniture, large appliances, fitness equipment and other oversized products. These categories require dedicated storage, handling systems and delivery mechanisms, which standard fulfilment centres may not fully support.
With this new facility, sellers dealing in such categories can expect better handling efficiency and reduced risk of damage during transit, along with improved delivery promises to customers.

What sellers need to do before sending inventory
According to the Seller Central update, sellers must first update their GST registration certificate to include the new fulfilment centre as an additional place of business. This is a mandatory compliance step before inventory can be shipped to the LDEB warehouse.
Once the GST details are updated, sellers can start creating shipment plans and dispatch stock to the new location. Amazon has also advised sellers to reach out to their account managers or contact the compliance team via email for any queries related to onboarding the facility.
Why this matters for FBA sellers
The opening of the LDEB centre comes at a time when demand for bulky products is rising, particularly in urban and semi-urban markets. Faster delivery timelines for large items can significantly improve customer satisfaction and conversion rates.
For sellers, this also means an opportunity to scale operations in categories that were earlier limited by logistics constraints. Improved storage capacity reduces dependency on fewer warehouses and helps maintain better inventory distribution across regions.
Additionally, proximity to major consumption hubs in North India can lead to lower shipping times and potentially reduced logistics costs under Fulfilment by Amazon.
Amazon’s broader logistics expansion in India
Amazon has been actively expanding its fulfilment network in India with both standard and specialised centres. In recent months, the company has focused on enhancing infrastructure for bulky goods, cold storage and same-day delivery capabilities.
The Haryana facility is part of this broader strategy to strengthen regional fulfilment capabilities and support a diverse range of seller categories. Such expansions also align with Amazon’s efforts to improve service reliability and reduce delivery timelines in competitive ecommerce markets.
The launch of the LDEB heavy and bulky fulfilment centre in Haryana marks a significant step in Amazon India’s logistics expansion. For FBA sellers, especially those dealing in large-sized products, the facility offers a chance to improve operational efficiency and reach customers faster. However, sellers must ensure GST compliance before using the warehouse.
As Amazon continues to invest in specialised infrastructure, sellers who adapt quickly to these updates are likely to gain a competitive edge in both fulfilment speed and customer experience.
