Amazon UK Opens Applications for €23,000 Sustainability Accelerator Grants
Early-stage European and UK startups can apply from June 4 for funding, mentorship and scaling support

Amazon UK has invited applications for its Sustainability Accelerator programme, offering early-stage brand owners a chance to secure €23,000 in grants and credits along with expert guidance and business support. The announcement was made on Seller Central, where Amazon regularly shares updates for its selling partners.
The nine-week programme is aimed at founders developing more sustainable products and building early-stage businesses registered in Europe or the United Kingdom. Applications will open on June 4, 2026, and will be reviewed on a rolling basis.

The programme is open to brand owners who:
i) Have an early-stage business registered in Europe or the UK
ii) Are developing products with a clear sustainability focus
iii) Want to scale their brand on Amazon and beyond
Amazon is targeting startups that align with growing customer demand for environmentally responsible products. From reusable household goods to eco-friendly packaging innovations, brands that offer measurable sustainability impact are expected to have an advantage.

What Selected Startups Will Receive
i) Successful participants, to be announced by May 11, 2026, will receive:
ii) €23,000 in non-dilutive grants and Amazon credits
iii) Expert mentorship from industry leaders and sustainability specialists
iv) Free account management support to help scale on Amazon
v) Two weeks of in-person events and seminars
vi) Structured guidance across product development, branding, operations and growth
For Amazon UK sellers, this means access not only to funding but also to hands-on support that can improve listings, optimise supply chains and strengthen brand positioning in competitive categories.
Strong Results from Previous Cohorts
Amazon highlighted that startups in last year’s cohort secured more than €6 million in funding within six months of completing the programme. On average, they recorded sales growth of over 240 percent. These figures suggest that the accelerator is more than a branding exercise. It can significantly improve investor interest, operational efficiency and marketplace performance.
