Prime Day preparations are already gaining momentum across Amazon’s marketplace ecosystem as sellers look to strengthen inventory planning and avoid stock shortages ahead of one of the platform’s biggest shopping events of the year.

In a new update shared on Seller Central under its “Webinar Wednesday” series, Amazon is encouraging sellers to participate in upcoming free live webinars designed to help businesses improve logistics planning, prepare for seasonal sales spikes, and learn practical strategies directly from experienced marketplace sellers.

The sessions are aimed at sellers of all experience levels and will focus on Prime Day readiness, inventory restocking, forecasting demand, and promotional planning for the second half of the year.

Prime Day inventory planning takes center stage
One of the featured sessions will focus on preparing for Prime Day using Amazon Global Logistics Air Freight services.

Titled “Prepare for Prime Day with AGL Air Freight,” the webinar will explain how sellers can use Amazon’s premium air freight network to quickly restock products before major sales events. According to the Seller Central update, AGL Air Freight can deliver inventory to Amazon fulfillment centers within seven to ten days.

This could be especially useful for sellers facing inventory shortages, delayed shipments, or sudden demand spikes during seasonal events.

The webinar will cover:
- Benefits and use cases of AGL Air Freight
- Seasonal demand forecasting strategies
- Inventory placement options
- Live booking workflow demonstrations
- Interactive Q&A with Amazon experts

Amazon said registered participants will also receive the presentation deck and webinar recording after the event concludes.

The session is scheduled for June 3 at 9 a.m. Pacific Time.

Why AGL Air Freight matters for sellers
Speed has become increasingly important for marketplace sellers during high-traffic shopping events like Prime Day. Inventory delays during major campaigns can lead to missed sales opportunities, reduced Buy Box visibility, and lower search rankings.

By promoting AGL Air Freight through Seller Central webinars, Amazon appears to be encouraging sellers to adopt faster replenishment methods to maintain in-stock levels during peak demand periods.

For international sellers and high-volume brands, faster inventory movement can also help improve warehouse planning and reduce disruption caused by delayed ocean freight shipments.

Experienced sellers to share peak season strategies
Another featured webinar, titled “Learn from other sellers: Preparing optimally for special events,” will bring together successful Amazon sellers Matt Jones of Crease Beast, Phillip Guerra of The Happy Start, and David Dermer of Funky Junque.

The live discussion will focus on practical approaches sellers use to prepare for seasonal shopping periods from summer through year-end.

According to the Seller Central announcement, the webinar will include discussions on:
- Demand forecasting techniques
- Holiday preparation timelines
- Promotional campaign planning
- Inventory readiness strategies
- Real-world lessons from experienced sellers

The session will also include live Q&A with Amazon experts, giving sellers an opportunity to clarify operational and marketing concerns ahead of upcoming shopping events.

The webinar is scheduled for June 2 at noon Pacific Time.

Growing importance of educational webinars on Seller Central
Amazon has increasingly expanded its educational webinar ecosystem through Seller Central to help merchants better understand logistics tools, advertising solutions, fulfillment programs, and marketplace policies.

These live sessions have become particularly valuable for newer sellers who may not yet have structured forecasting systems or established seasonal sales strategies.

For experienced sellers, webinars often provide direct insights into new Amazon programs, operational changes, and logistics solutions that can improve performance during high-demand periods.

Industry observers say Prime Day 2026 could place even greater pressure on sellers to maintain strong inventory health due to rising competition and faster customer delivery expectations across major e-commerce marketplaces.

How sellers can benefit from the sessions
Sellers planning to participate in Prime Day or upcoming seasonal campaigns may benefit from attending these webinars early to refine inventory strategies and reduce fulfillment risks.

Businesses using Fulfillment by Amazon can gain insights into replenishment timing and inventory placement, while merchant-fulfilled sellers can better understand rapid restocking options through Amazon Global Logistics.

The peer-led session may also help smaller sellers learn practical techniques from established brands that have already navigated multiple peak shopping seasons successfully.

With Prime Day preparations already underway, the latest Seller Central webinars could offer timely operational guidance for sellers aiming to improve readiness, maintain inventory availability, and maximize sales opportunities during one of Amazon’s busiest shopping periods of the year.
