Amazon introduces delivery photos for MCF orders with Amazon Logistics
Sellers can now provide buyers with visual confirmation of unattended deliveries
Amazon has rolled out a new feature on Seller Central that allows sellers to share delivery photos for eligible Multi-Channel Fulfillment (MCF) orders delivered by Amazon Logistics. This update is designed to give buyers peace of mind by offering visual proof of where their packages were placed, especially in cases of unattended deliveries.

Delivery photos through Swiship
The new feature integrates with Amazon’s Swiship tracking system. If sellers include the buyer’s email address while creating an MCF order, the buyer will automatically receive a link to the Swiship tracking website, where delivery photos will be available. Alternatively, sellers can manually share the Swiship link with buyers by providing the tracking number and zip code.

Quality requirements for delivery photos
Only high-quality photos that meet Amazon’s standards will be shared. Delivery images cannot include people and must clearly show the package at the delivery location. This ensures professionalism and avoids privacy concerns.
Accessing delivery photos via API
Sellers who use the Selling Partner API can also access delivery photos through the getFulfillmentOrder API. This makes it easier for sellers with automated systems to integrate delivery confirmation into their existing processes.
Improving buyer trust and support
By offering visual confirmation, this update is expected to reduce customer inquiries about delivery status and improve overall buyer satisfaction. Delivery photos are particularly useful for unattended deliveries where customers often seek reassurance about the package’s safety.
The announcement on Seller Central highlights Amazon’s commitment to improving transparency and buyer confidence in its logistics services. Sellers can now use delivery photos to enhance post-delivery support and reduce disputes over package locations. This new feature not only streamlines communication but also adds another layer of trust between sellers and buyers.
