Selling on TikTok Shop may become more cost-effective for US merchants already storing inventory within Amazon's fulfillment network. A new promotion gives eligible TikTok Shop orders a 35 percent discount on Amazon Multichannel Fulfillment Standard and Expedited fulfillment rates for 12 months.

The promotion started July 16, 2026. Amazon detailed the offer in an update on Seller Central and its Amazon Supply Chain Services website. The discount is designed to help merchants use their Amazon inventory to fulfill TikTok Shop sales while reducing the cost and complexity of operating across multiple ecommerce channels.

However, there is an important eligibility requirement. TikTok Shop orders must be properly identified and submitted through a supported integration partner. Orders created manually through Amazon Seller Central do not qualify for the promotion.

How the 35 percent TikTok Shop discount works
Amazon is offering a 35 percent discount on eligible Multichannel Fulfillment, or MCF, outbound fulfillment fees for TikTok Shop orders delivered to US addresses. The discount covers Standard and Expedited MCF fulfillment rates and runs for 12 months beginning July 16, 2026.

Amazon says the promotion is applied automatically to eligible TikTok Shop orders submitted through supported integration partners. Sellers therefore do not need to manually apply a promotional code to each qualifying order. The discount applies to the MCF outbound fulfillment fee in effect when an eligible order ships.

What is Amazon Multichannel Fulfillment?
MCF allows businesses to use inventory stored in Amazon's fulfillment network to fulfill orders received through sales channels outside Amazon. This means a merchant can keep inventory within Amazon's fulfillment infrastructure and use it for orders coming from Amazon as well as third-party ecommerce channels and social platforms.

For TikTok Shop sellers, this can reduce the need to maintain a separate fulfillment operation specifically for TikTok orders. Amazon says MCF orders are picked and packed using unbranded packaging by default before being shipped to customers.

One inventory pool across Amazon and TikTok Shop
One of the biggest potential advantages for sellers is inventory consolidation. Instead of maintaining separate inventory for Amazon and TikTok Shop, eligible businesses can use a common inventory pool through Amazon's fulfillment network. This can simplify inventory management for sellers expanding beyond Amazon Marketplace.

It may be particularly valuable for products that suddenly gain traction through TikTok videos, creators or social commerce campaigns. Viral demand can create sharp order spikes, making fulfillment capacity and inventory availability especially important. Amazon says MCF has access to more than 200 fulfillment centers to support fulfillment at scale.

Amazon highlights delivery performance
Amazon also highlighted its fulfillment performance as part of the promotion. According to Amazon Supply Chain Services data cited in the Seller Central announcement, 96 percent of MCF orders are dispatched and 99 percent are delivered within TikTok Shop's required timelines.

These figures are Amazon's own reported performance statistics rather than an independent measurement. Meeting TikTok Shop's required fulfillment timelines is important for merchants because social commerce does not end when a customer places an order. Reliable fulfillment and delivery remain important parts of the customer experience.

Potential inventory benefits for FBA sellers
The promotion may be particularly relevant to businesses already using Fulfillment by Amazon, or FBA. Amazon says sellers using both MCF and FBA reduced their out-of-stock rates by an average of 19 percent and improved inventory turnover by an average of 12 percent.

These figures are also based on Amazon Supply Chain Services data and should be viewed as reported averages rather than guaranteed results for individual sellers. Still, the ability to use inventory across multiple channels could help merchants avoid unnecessarily splitting stock between separate fulfillment systems.

Manually submitted orders do not qualify
Sellers should pay close attention to how TikTok Shop orders enter MCF. According to the promotion terms, orders submitted manually through Amazon Seller Central are not eligible for the 35 percent discount.

The TikTok Shop order must instead be attributed to TikTok Shop according to Amazon's integration instructions. Amazon says merchants are responsible for ensuring that their orders are correctly attributed to TikTok Shop. This distinction is important. Simply using MCF to ship a TikTok Shop order does not necessarily mean the order will receive the promotional discount.

Supported integration partner required
To qualify, sellers need to route eligible TikTok Shop orders through a supported integration partner so that Amazon can identify them correctly. Amazon maintains a list of supported MCF integrations for TikTok Shop. Sellers should check that their current integration is supported before calculating the 35 percent discount into their fulfillment costs.

This is particularly important for sellers using third-party order management platforms, APIs or automation services. They should verify that their specific workflow attributes orders correctly for the promotion instead of assuming all automatically created MCF orders qualify.

Promotion cannot be combined with other discounts
Another important condition concerns Amazon's other MCF discount programs. Amazon says the TikTok Shop promotion cannot be combined with another promotion, discount or pricing program on the same eligible orders.

For sellers participating in the 2026 MCF Preferred Pricing program, Amazon says the 35 percent TikTok Shop promotion will apply instead of the Preferred Pricing discount to qualifying TikTok Shop orders.

There is an additional benefit for Preferred Pricing participants. MCF units attributed to TikTok Shop and used to fulfill TikTok orders under this promotion will not be deducted from the applicable 2026 Preferred Pricing benefit unit cap or FBA Credit cap.

For orders that are not attributed to TikTok Shop, the normal 2026 Preferred Pricing program discount can continue to apply where eligible.

Why the offer could matter to multichannel sellers
Fulfillment costs can have a significant impact on margins, especially for lower-priced products and businesses operating across several marketplaces. A 35 percent reduction in eligible MCF fulfillment rates could change the economics of using Amazon inventory for TikTok Shop orders.

Sellers should calculate the actual savings at SKU level rather than looking only at the percentage discount. Product dimensions, shipping weight, fulfillment speed, selling price and other costs can affect whether MCF is the best fulfillment option for a particular product.

The promotion could be especially useful for existing FBA sellers that are considering TikTok Shop but do not want to establish a separate warehouse or third-party logistics operation for the channel.

What TikTok Shop sellers should do now
Sellers interested in the promotion should first determine whether their TikTok Shop inventory is already stored in or can be fulfilled through Amazon's MCF network. They should then check Amazon's current list of supported integration partners and make sure TikTok Shop orders are being properly identified when sent to MCF.

Sellers already using an automated TikTok Shop-to-MCF workflow should not assume eligibility based only on the fact that orders are automatically fulfilled. They should verify that their integration and order attribution meet Amazon's promotion requirements.

It is also worth comparing the discounted MCF cost against the seller's current TikTok Shop fulfillment method. The calculation should consider fulfillment fees as well as the operational benefits of maintaining fewer inventory pools and fulfillment systems. Sellers should also monitor invoices and fulfillment reports after implementation to confirm that eligible orders are receiving the expected discount.

Promotion terms can change
Amazon states in its terms that it may modify, suspend or discontinue all or part of the promotion, including seller eligibility and participation. Sellers planning their long-term fulfillment strategy should therefore treat the 35 percent discount as a promotional incentive rather than a permanent MCF pricing structure.

Businesses should review the current terms before making significant inventory or logistics decisions based on the offer. Amazon's 35 percent MCF discount gives eligible US TikTok Shop sellers a potentially significant opportunity to lower fulfillment costs while managing inventory across Amazon and social commerce through a more unified supply chain.

The offer may be especially attractive to existing FBA sellers expanding onto TikTok Shop. They can potentially use inventory already positioned within Amazon's network instead of building a separate fulfillment operation for another sales channel.

The key requirement is order attribution. Eligible TikTok Shop orders must be submitted through a supported integration and correctly identified as TikTok Shop orders. Manual MCF orders created in Seller Central are excluded.

Sellers should therefore review their integration setup, calculate savings at the SKU level and confirm eligibility before relying on the discount. For businesses already selling successfully on TikTok Shop, or preparing to expand there, the 12-month promotion could provide a useful window to test Amazon MCF at a substantially reduced fulfillment rate.
